Indonesia, West Sumbawa - Kertasari

Alt text

Kertasari is a small village in West Sumbawa, Nick found this awesome little homestay in the middle of the village. Our host Ade was very welcoming and showed us his coconut farm, a local waterfall and some beautiful secluded snorkeling spots.

Unfortunately the swell didn't end up coming through to surf here but we had a really nice time exploring the local village.

While in the village there was a Mulsim holiday, there was an early morning prayer right next door and the tradition is that someone rich in the village pays for animals to be slaughtered for the locals. In this village there was buffalo, goat and cow.
